Our older students truly enjoy being at Torah Academy–getting the individual attention they need from teachers and administration, feeling right at home in our classrooms and hallways, and being mentors and role models to our younger students. It’s not uncommon to see a middle schooler coaching a nursery student on baseball, teaching them the fine points of art, or reading to them.
Teachers and students alike look forward to class discussions as logic skills and informational background develop to help students formulate their own cohesive opinions. Torah Academy kids have ample opportunity for presenting to their class or even the whole school, sharpening their public speaking abilities and confidence.
Through hands-on activities, problem-based learning, and seminar-like discussions, students learn to ask good questions and find meaningful answers.
